Where it all began. Naim Audio founder Julian Vereker sought out to design a simple yet highly musical amplifier. Uncompromising engineering around carefully auditioned components with effortless yet highly engaging audio results. The current NAP 200 benefits from all the R&D filtered down from its bigger brothers, yet remains a class leader in both design and results.
Unlike it’s bigger brother the NAP 200 can be connected to a pre-amplifier without the need of a separate power supply for the pre-amplifier.
New for 2015
The NAP 200 has been revitalised and reintroduced for 2015 with the addition of a Naim DR (Discrete Regulator) module to power its partnered Naim preamplifier. This comes alongside small improvements to some internal componentry and layout that combine to lift its musical performance even further than the original.
- 70W per channel output into 8 Ohms
- Large custom-designed transformer providing 300VA of transient power
- Internal power supply to allow direct connection of a NAC 152 XS, NAC 202 or NAC 282 preamplifier
